What's a Blog?
- It is the contraction universally used for weblog, a type of website where entries are made (such as in a journal or diary), displayed in a reverse chronological order.
- Blogs often provide commentary or news and information on a particular subject, such as food, politics, or local news; some function as more personal online diaries.
- A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic.

Why create a blog now?
There has been a marked increase in e-mail activity among our classmates since BH, Mickey White, Larry Aber and I convened on the Upper West Side of NYC sometime in the summer of 2004.
Our Pittsburgh event is fast approaching (September 29th-Oct 1st, 2006), and we need a more efficient & private process for sharing general information across our ever-widening network.
